Come along for some fun in the Sierras...
Spring Skiing
on Mammoth Mountain
Friday,
March 31--Sunday, April 2
|
I've reserved two large
condos that together will hold about 15 people. Both are in the
Mammoth Estates complex, which is about a five-minute walk from the new
Village and gondola. Vickie Hardy
is again coordinating our reservations, providing her usual good service!
For those of you who have stayed in her own condo before, that's one of the
two we have reserved. Mammoth Estates has an outdoor jacuzzi, and our
rooms have a mix of kings, queens and bunks.
I'll book a lunch
reservation at Parallax Restaurant on Saturday for those interested in a nice, relaxed lunch.
(Though if it's unusually warm, we may opt for an outdoor barbeque at
mid-chalet, instead.) Among the options for later Sat. afternoon will be apres ski in the
Village
and enjoying our jacuzzi.
|
Saturday evening, we'll cook
dinner for the group in one of the condos. Everyone will be asked to
help with your choice of food prep or clean-up. The condos will be
stocked ahead of time with food for dinner, as well as breakfast both days.
The cost for the weekend's
lodging including dinner and the breakfasts will be $145 per person.
I'll hold spots based on when I receive your checks. I hope to get
most people in the bedding of their choice (shared or not), and will take
preferences on a first-come basis.
If you'd like to come along,
please send your check to me. As you might imagine, this payment will be non-refundable.
(Geez, I sound like an airline!) After sign-ups are done, I'll
circulate a carpool list for anyone who wants a passenger or ride.

Spring skiing at Mammoth is
usually sunny and mild.
Should be a fun weekend...I hope you'll join us!
