Potluck Beach Picnic Sunday, August 14 -- 4:30 PM
Plan to join us for the last of this year's Hermosa Pier concerts. We'll have a large area set aside for our group out toward the ocean. Feel free to bring beach chairs or just plop down on the several large drop clothes I'll have spread out. We'll start the afternoon off at 4:30 sharing a picnic on the beach. Will you please bring one food item and one beverage to share with the group? I'll bring plates, cups, utensils, napkins and wine openers. The city is mellow about drinking wine and beer from cups during the concerts, so feel free to bring such along if that's your beverage of choice! Feel free to invite along any friends you'd like to bring...the more the merrier. This will be a rather kid-friendly occasion, so feel free to bring along yours if you'd like.
If you plan to join us, will you please RSVP to me, just in case I need to send out any change of plans? No worries at all if your plans change later. Thanks! With the tax base in the South Bay, you'd think they'd be able to afford U2 or the Stones for these shows. But I imagine we'll be once again relegated to the musical stylings of some clowns who tend bar at Hennessey's when they aren't playing the free concert circuit. Oh, well...they'll just be the backdrop to the afternoon's fun anyway!
