Sullivan Ridge Hike
Saturday,
April 30 – 10:30 a.m.
Sullivan Ridge offers ongoing views which become
increasingly expansive further along the trail. We'll be hiking to a
broad hilltop that will be a pleasant place for our picnic lunch. It's
still mostly green in the Santa Monica Mountains, so the folliage should be
fairly pretty. Our hike will be five miles roundtrip. This hike is
easy to reach, just a few miles off the 405.

We'll share a potluck picnic
lunch at the mid-point of the hike. Please bring one food item to
share with the group. Doesn't need to be gourmet; any good lunch
food will be fine. I'll bring a few bottles of wine to share. Plan
to bring whatever water or such you'd like for yourself. I'll
provide plates, cups, utensils, napkins, picnic blankets, etc. |

Please RSVP at least a few
days prior if you plan to come, in case anything
changes with our plans. If you'd like to find others to carpool
with, let me know when you RSVP. Once I've heard from everyone who
is coming, I'll send out any carpool offers/requests. |
Feel free to invite any friends you'd like to
come along. Kids are welcome...it may be a bit long and hilly
especially for smaller ones, but it's an out-and-back hike so you can turn
around wherever you'd like. Let me know if you have any questions
about the hike.
