We're camping in Aspen Hollow Group Campground in Sequoia National Forest. Google Maps and Google Nav will direct you there by entering "Aspen Hollow Group Campground". However, I encourage you to print the directions and maps, as you're likely to lose cell reception before reaching our campground. You can use the following link for a map to the campground:
From the South Bay the drive may take about 4:45 without traffic. From SoCal you'll head north on the I-5 to Hwy. 99, and eventually exit on Hwy. 198 east toward Visalia.
Then you'll take exit 107A for Hwy. 63/Noble Ave. After exiting turn left onto Court St. This will eventually wind around a small urban park, Oval Park. As you drive around the park you'll continue north on 3rd Ave. (online maps will make this clear). From 3rd. Ave. you'll bear right on Dinuba Blvd./Hwy. 63 north.
After about 20 miles Hwy. 63 does a quick jog, first turning left on Ave. 460 toward Orange Cove, then quickly turning right on Hill Valley Rd. Continue on Hwy. 63 north until it ends at Hwy. 180. At that point you'll turn right heading east into the national parks. After going through the park entrance, you'll continue on Hwy. 180 heading toward Grant Grove and Kings Canyon.
You'll eventually turn right onto Hume Lake Rd. heading toward Hume Lake. As you drive through the village at Hume Lake the road bears left and becomes Ten Mile Rd. as it continues around the south side of the lake. From there you'll turn right on Aspen Hollow Rd., which ends in our campground.
Note: You can also take Hwy. 198 east all the way into Sequoia Nat. Park and come up to our campground that way. You'll get to drive by some of the largest giant sequoia trees if that's of interest. However, note that there is construction being done on this road and you may endure delays of up to 20 minutes if you go this way.
